We’ve been wanting to find a brand or a person to co-create a bag with for a long time. Indeed, the idea of merging 2 universes around common values, of imagining together a bag is very exciting.
The hardest part is actually to find the rare pearl that is the closest to the brand’s universe. The two worlds have to link up and coordinate to make this project a success.
Let’s remember that E2R is a fashion brand inspired by the automotive world and that manufactures bags from automotive materials.
Quite naturally, we contacted Clémence de Bernis, founder of the media Les Enjoliveuses, with whom we had been in contact at the beginning of the E2R adventure.
Clémence has a radiant personality and represents dynamism incarnate, she makes you feel good, so it was a real pleasure to realize this collaboration.
Before sharing our incredible E2R x Les Enjoliveuses collaboration, how about knowing a little more about Les Enjoliveuses?
A cliché or stereotype often spread is that « car » rhymes with « masculine » … Indeed, mechanics is known to be a field of activity more addressed to the male gender than female. However, Clémence de Bernis wanted to reverse the trend, and decided to embark on a brand-new adventure in 2012.
Les Enjoliveuses is the result of an observation that Clémence made about the world of cars: women are not particularly interested in cars even though they use them regularly. So, why not invent a media that addresses men and women who have no knowledge on the subject, like her at the time!
And this is where the love story between the car and Clémence begins…
Passionate about travel, mother of three children, our founder of Les Enjoliveuses has more than just a wanderlust. She is a real adventurer! She loves meeting new people, discovering unknown universes, living unforgettable experiences, and wishes through her media to present the automobile as she sees it: with love.
So, who better than Clémence to collaborate with us?
This union of our two worlds marks the beginning of a real friendship between the two founders of the brands.
Passionate about cars, they also advocate respect for the environment by opting for sustainable fashion. Thus, in the construction of this project it was necessary to think beauty, practicality, travel and respect of the planet. What a challenge!
Fan of her mini when Clémence was young, she wished to find a bit of her car in the bag.
She also wanted a travel bag so that she could roam the roads with everything she needed when she went on assignment.
This bag is therefore designed for a 48H trip, it is dressed in a black quilted fabric, it has black leather handles and a shoulder strap to carry it on the shoulder.
Like all E2R bags, its particularities are lightness and solidity.
In addition to that, it has the chic and sporty style of E2R with leather stripes reminding the green of the car, and the inscription « TWO » on it, echoing the 2 of E2R.
The originality is to use the details of Clemence’s car: the tartan lining recalls the fabric of the seats of her car.
